1920 Ecuador 100 Sucres, P#S254

Direct from the tropical land of Ecuador comes a 1920 100 Sucres bank note issued over 85 years ago! Now that the government of Ecuador replaced their currency with the U.S. dollar in 2000, this denomination is obsolete! Issued by the Banco Sur Americano, the face of this note features a woman standing on a cornucopia holding a scroll to the left, and a woman with two children in the center. The back depicts a group of Spaniards waving farewell to Columbus at the seashore. The fact that there are no signatures and serial numbers overprinted on the note shows that it was never released into circulation. So don't miss your chance to own this obsolete note - still as crisp as the day it was printed!
