Silver Shilling

1625-1641 Great Britain Silver Shilling

These hammered silver Shillings were struck from 1625-1641 during the reign of Charles I. They were found buried in a pot with other coins in Messing, England, over 325 years later in 1975. A year later, this hoard was recorded and published by the Royal Numismatic Society. Now you can enjoy one of those very same Charles I Shillings.

  • Struck from 1625-1641 by workers at the British Tower Mint

  • These nice-quality Charles I coins are becoming difficult to find - especially those from a well-known hoard. Be sure to get yours while they are still available!
