1928-S Peace Silver Dollar

Struck in 90% silver by the prestigious San Francisco Mint, the obverse depicts Liberty wearing a tiara of light. Reverse features the inscription PEACE and an eagle holding an olive branch, perched on a rock above a rising unseen sun. In the year 1928, Amelia Earhart became the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean and Walt Disney released his first film, Plane Crazy.
