1928-S Peace Silver Dollar

Act now to own this genuine 1928-S Peace silver dollar! Issued from 1921–1935, the Peace dollar is the only U.S. silver dollar struck to commemorate peace. Struck in 90% silver by the prestigious San Francisco Mint, the obverse depicts Liberty wearing a tiara of light. Reverse features the inscription PEACE and an eagle holding an olive branch, perched on a rock above a rising unseen sun. In the year 1928, Amelia Earhart became the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean and Walt Disney released his first film, Plane Crazy.
