1913-S Barber Half Dollar

The 1913-S Barber half dollar was struck in 90% silver at the San Francisco Mint. This coinage series is named after its designer, Charles E. Barber, who at the time was chief engraver at the Philadelphia Mint. The obverse of the coin depicts Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap and a wreath of laurel.
