March 17, 2014 – Littleton, NH – With over 300 employees, there are many Littleton Coin team members who enjoy the “woof” or “purr” of animal companions. So, it's no surprise that the company's Community Service Committee focused their recent fundraising efforts on area animal shelters. In February, collection boxes were set up in the cafeteria to fulfill the Wish Lists of three worthy organizations: Above the Notch Animal Rescue, Second Chance Animal Rescue and Kingdom Animal Shelter. Representatives from each shelter visited the company to distribute information about volunteer opportunities and discuss the benefits of pet adoption. In addition to gifts of food, bedding and supplies, LCC employees also donated gift cards from area businesses. Littleton Coin Company matched the value of these employee efforts and a total of $860.00 was distributed among the three shelters.
