David Sundman Honored for Service
At the VT/NH Marketing Group annual meeting, longtime member David Sundman of Littleton Coin Company was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement award.
August 9, 2013 – Littleton, NH – The VT/NH Marketing Group is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in education and training for marketing in all channels and formats, and to achieving and upholding the highest ethical business standards. At the group's annual meeting in June, longtime member David Sundman of Littleton Coin Company was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement award. This honor is given to those who have served not only the VTNHMG for many years, but also made significant contributions to the direct marketing industry and shown a high degree of professional integrity throughout their careers.
"It was an honor to be presented with this lifetime achievement award," said Sundman. "It serves as a reminder that by being open to new ideas and learning we continue to grow and better serve our customer."
Sundman is the sixth recipient of the Lifetime Achievement award since the VT/NH Marketing Group's founding in 1988. A native of Littleton, N.H., he is currently President of the Littleton Coin Company founded by his parents, which he joined in 1972. Littleton Coin, recently named a 2013 Business of the Year by Business N.H. Magazine, has been affiliated with the VT/NH Marketing Group for more than 20 years. The company's employees have been VTNHMG members, attended its programs and served on its board of directors.
"For years, we have participated in the VT/NH Marketing association and have enjoyed the relationships we have formed with businesses large and small," said Sundman. "The atmosphere within the group has always been one of mutual sharing, discovery and learning. This spirit of openness benefits us all."
A lifetime member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA), Sundman also is a member and Life Fellow of the American Numismatic Society, the Professional Numismatists Guild and the Numismatic Bibliomania Society. He recently was named an Emeritus Member of the National Postal Museum Council of Philatelists. Long active in the community, Sundman is a current member of the New Hampshire Historical Society. Sundman also has been member and Chairman of the Board of Governors of N.H. Public Television, serving on the Littleton Planning Board and as trustee of the Littleton Public Library and Littleton's Trust Funds. He is an active member of the First Congregational Church.
