Littleton Coin donates coin folders to hundreds of kids at the NH White Mountain National Forest Quarter release ceremony!
February 21, 2013 – PLYMOUTH, NH – In honor of the U.S. Mint's latest coin release, the 2013 White Mountain National Forest Quarter, Littleton Coin Company donated several hundred National Park coin folders to school children attending the ceremony.

The official release ceremony was held at Plymouth State University and children from around the area took part in the historic event. In attendance were noted state dignitaries, including Governor Maggie Hassan, Congresswoman Ann McLane Kuster, and White Mountain National Forest Supervisor Tom Wagner, as well as United States Mint acting Director Richard Peterson. Cheers were heard by all as the new coin was officially launched.
The White Mountain National Forest Quarter is the 16th coin in the U.S. Mint's America the Beautiful Quarters® Program, which began in 2010. The coins honor a new national park or historic site from each of the 50 U.S. states and 6 territories. Littleton Coin is located in the heart of New Hampshire's White Mountain region and was pleased to take part in the event. Spokesperson Jill Kimball, said "The kids were thrilled to receive the gifts. The smiles on their faces warmed our hearts, even amidst the cold temperatures!" The donation was just one of the initiatives the company is doing to celebrate the new coin. She added that "Littleton Coin is committed to spreading the word about the new coin series and about introducing new collectors to the hobby."
