Coin Company Honors Seven For Top Quality
LITTLETON
Littleton Coin Company honored seven employees for outstanding quality at an awards luncheon held at the Italian Oasis Restaurant. Recognized for superior achievement and service at the event were Marc and Amanda, both of Outbound Fulfillment; Erica, Customer Service; Katie, Analyzing/Order Processing; Steve and Mike, both of Maintenance; and Alicia, Advertising.
During the event, Chief Operating Officer Mike Morelli provided background information about the evolution of
Littleton
’s Quality Achievement Award program. “The other officers and I wanted a more visible way to recognize employees who have shown how much they care about their customers and the quality of the work they do,” noted Morelli. “So we created this award program.” Since the program’s establishment in 1997, Littleton Coin Company has presented nearly $14,000 in quality awards to more than 100 deserving employees. The awards program has two phases departmental awards given in the spring and fall of each year, and a January “Quality Employee of the Year” award. Morelli and Chief Financial Officer Ed Hennessey select the recipients from a list of candidates submitted by company management. Those honored receive special certificates of recognition, a cash award, a luncheon in their honor with company officers, and preferred parking spaces for part of the year.
