Coin Company Honors Six Recipients
of the Maynard Sundman Quality Achievement Award
LITTLETON – Littleton Coin Company honored six employees for outstanding quality at an awards luncheon held at the Italian Oasis Restaurant. Recognized for superior achievement and service were: Fabian Boland and David Williams, both of Outbound Fulfillment; Deb Newton, Customer Service; Bee Horsch, Analyzing; Rob Roesch, Marketing; and Marriett Meier, Inventory.
During the event, Chief Operating Officer Mike Morelli provided background information about the evolution of Littleton’s Quality Achievement Award program. “The other officers and I wanted a more visible way to recognize employees who have shown how much they care about their customers and the quality of the work they do,” noted Morelli. “So we created this award program.” Since the program’s establishment in 1997, Littleton Coin Company has presented over $15,000 in quality awards to 160 deserving employees. The awards program has two phases – departmental awards given in the spring and fall of each year, and a January “Quality Employee of the Year” award. Morelli and Chief Financial Officer Ed Hennessey select the recipients from a list of candidates submitted by company management. Those honored receive special certificates of recognition, a cash award, a luncheon in their honor with company officers, and preferred parking spaces for part of the year.
