Coin Company presents the 2002 Quality
& Distinguished Achievement Awards
Temperatures dipped well below zero on January 22, 2003 as more than 300 Littleton Coin employees gathered inside the Elks Lodge for the 2002 Annual Awards Breakfast. There, Leigh Ann Haggett of Customer Service received the prestigious 2002 Quality Employee of the Year Award from the company's Chief Operating Officer, Mike Morelli. Distinguished Achievement Awards were presented to Peggy Fisher, Team Leader of the Mailing Dept., and Ellie Holtzman of Paid Orders.
In presenting the awards, Morelli noted that because of the growth the company has experienced over the past years, many attending this year's breakfast might not know why the Quality Awards program was instituted. "One of the key elements we ask of you when you come to work for Littleton Coin Company is to care about your customer; whether an internal or external customer, take pride in the quality of work you do and send to your customers," he said. The award goes to individuals who have shown meticulous attention to quality in job performance. Department-level awards are made each spring and fall, and the Quality Employee of the Year and Distinguished Achievement recipients are selected each December.
