Enjoy vintage silver coinage with this affordable set of century-old Barber dimes. You’ll receive 18 different issues struck between 1900 and 1916 (dates our choice) – including the historic final year of issue in 1916 and representing the Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco Mints.
These coins are named for their designer, Charles Barber – who served as chief engraver of the U.S. Mint from 1879-1917. All at least 100 years old, these Barber dimes feature mintages of about 1% of current dime production. And few were saved, as a Barber dime would buy two loaves of bread, a gallon of gasoline or two tickets to a nickelodeon movie during its years of issue. In addition, millions were melted down for their bullion content during periods of high silver prices.
Your 18-coin set will include Littleton’s custom album for the 1892-1916 Barber series, plus you’ll SAVE off individual prices!
