After years of producing large quantities of Morgan silver dollars, the Philadelphia Mint struck only 378,000 Morgan dollars in 1893. A small number for the main U.S. mint, and the 1893 silver dollar is significantly scarce in all grades today. The quality of the strike is above average on the 1893, so even coins in lower Circulated grades will be attractive to own - a good thing considering that any 1893 Morgan is a prized acquisition!
