Charles E. Barber’s Liberty Head design of 1892-1916 marked the end of a coinage tradition. Starting with the U.S. Mint’s first issues in the 1790s, different coin denominations often shared the same design. Barber’s 90% silver dime, quarter and half dollar all feature the same Liberty Head motif, and were the last regular-issue U.S. coins released with the same obverse design.
You can now affordably own a complete type set of these coinage classics from a bygone American era. Barber dimes, quarters and halves are from a time when people’s lives were changing dramatically with inventions like the telephone, automobile and electric lights. And these coins were minted in very small quantities compared to modern coins. You’ll receive a custom folder for each Barber denomination with your three historic coins (dates our choice). Add this type set of silver classics to your collection today!
